Staffordshire Library Volunteers
MPFT works with local communities to provide library services. These community libraries are run by volunteers, managed by the Trust and supported by Staffordshire County Council's library service.
We believe we should provide excellent clinical services for those that need them, but also support people to improve and maintain their mental wellbeing. Communities are very important for our wellbeing and we recognise that libraries provide a focus for local people to come together, as well as offering opportunities for learning, socialising and volunteering.
In order to continue to provide services, each library needs volunteers to take on a variety of roles. If you are interested, please contact libraryvolunteers@mpft.nhs.uk for more information.
The eight libraries we manage are
Barton Under Needwood, Baswich, Brewood, Glascote, Holmcroft, Heath Hayes, Hednesford and Norton Canes.
